Ruotare fino alla posizione di fermo
l'estremità della molla (19). Verificare,
dopo aver sfilato l'asta forata (D),
che l'estremità della molla risulti
correttamente posizionata
nell'apposita spalla della testa.
Eseguire la stesa operazione per il
bilanciere opposto.
Montaggio valvole
Lubrificare lo stelo delle valvole di
aspirazione (14) con olio motore ed
introdurle nella testa.
Utilizzando il fermo (B) dell'attrezzo
cod. 88713.2068, mantenere
spinto verso il basso il bilanciere di
chiusura (4) ed inserire nello stelo
della valvola il registro di chiusura (7).
In caso di testa usata, partire con il
rimontaggio del registro originale.
Inserire i semianelli (6) nuovi e
liberare il bilanciere per ottenere il
posizionamento all'interno del
registro (7). Per assestare
l'accoppiamento dei semianelli nel
B
registro, battere con martello di
gomma sul pattino del bilancere (4).
Eseguire la stessa operazione sulla
valvola opposta e verificare che la
sommità dello stelo valvola risulti
allineato con la superficie del
registro (6); se così non risulta,
14 ripetere l'operazione di montaggio dei
semianelli.
Rimuovere il fermo (B) dei bilancieri
lato scarico e installare i registri di
chiusura sulle valvole di scarico (11)
analogamente a quanto descritto per
quelle di aspirazione.

Procedere al rimontaggio degli alberi
distribuzione (Sez. N 4.2) e delle
pulegge distribuzione.

Eseguire il controllo del gioco valvole
in chiusura e in apertura come
descritto nella Sezione N 4.1.

Rotate the end of the spring (19) up to
the stop position. After removing the
drilled shaft (D), check that the end of
the spring is positioned correctly on
the shoulder of the cylinder head.
Repeat the procedure for the rocker
arm on the opposite side.
Fitting the valves
Lubricate the stems of the intake
valves (14) with engine oil and insert
them in the head.
Using the retainer (B) of service tool
88713.2068, hold the closing rocker
arm (4) pushed downwards and fit the
closing shim on the valve stem (7).
If using the old cylinder head, start by
fitting the original shim.
Insert the new half rings (6) and
release the rocker arm to ensure that
the shim (7) seats internally. To ensure
the half-rings are seated in the shim,
tap the end of the rocker arm (4) with
a rubber mallet.
Repeat the procedure with the
opposite valve and check that the top
of the valve stem is aligned with the
surface of the shim (6); if it is not,
repeat the half ring installation
procedure.
Remove the retainer (B) from the
exhaust side rocker arms and install
the closing shims on the exhaust
valves (11) in the same manner as
described for the intake side units.
Proceed with the refitting of the
camshafts (Sect. N 4.2) and the
timing belt pulleys.
Check the clearance of the valves
when opening and closing as
described in Section N 4.1.
