Measure resistance between the
terminals of the 6-P connector;
No. 1, No.3 and No.2 terminals

Check for continuity (short) be-
tween the terminals of the 6-P
connector and throttle actuator
body.
Is there continuity?
to the TCS control unit and
6-P connector to the throttle ac-
Turn the ignition switch ON.
Measure the voltage between the
No.3 (RED/YEL), and the No.4
connector for the TCS control unit
when the accelerator pedal is
released.
NO
Check for poor connections or

loose wires.
Substitute a known-good TCS

control unit and recheck.

Replace the throttle actuator.

Replace the throttle actuator.

Substitute a known-good throttle
actuator assembly and recheck.
