The EPS indicator light stays on
Start the engine.
Is the charging system light off?
Y E S
Stop the engine.
Short the service check connec-
tor and turn the ignition switch
Is a problem code displayed?
Turn the ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect EPS control unit con-
nectors A and B.
