4. Adjust the retractor motor fore or aft until the head-
light garnish fits flush with the front fender when
the headlight are closed.
NOTE: Be careful not to damage the headlight
garnish.

Remove the retractor motor.
Test motor operation by connecting battery positive
wire to the A terminal and negative to the D terminal.
The motor should run continuously.
Disconnect the power supply and check for continui-
ty between the terminals according to the table while
turning the knob clockwise, as shown above.
