Problem Code 5 to 5-8: Speed Sensor(s)
CAUTION: Use only the digital multimeter to check the system.
Is there 750- 1200 01
Y E S
Disconnect the 20 connector
from the control unit.
Check each wire for continuity
between the sensor and control
unit:
Rear Right Positive
LT BLU: Rear Left Positive
GRY: Rear Left Negative
Y E S
Check for continuity to ground.
Reconnect the 20P connector to
the control unit and connectors
Connect the ALB checker to the
inspection connector.
Check for ALB function in MODE
2 and 3.
Y E S

Check for rear brake drag. If OK,
substitute a known-good control
unit and recheck.
