Seat Belt Reminder System
1 . Slide the driver's seat forward until the seat belt
center anchor bolt is accessible, then disconnect the
2-P connector from the seat belt switch.
2. There should be continuity between the A and B ter-
minals when the driver's seat belt is not buckled.
There should be no continuity when the driver's seat
belt is buckled.

Low Fuel Indicator
System
NOTE: Refer to page 23-l 26 for wiring description of
the low fuel indicator circuit.
Park car on level ground.

Do not smoke while working on fuel
Keep open flame away from work area.
Drain fuel only into an approved container.
2. Drain fuel tank into an approved container.
Then install the drain bolt with a new washer.
3. Add less than 11 e (2.4 U.S.Gal, 2.9 Imp. Gal) of
fuel and turn the ignition switch on.
The low fuel Indicator light should come on within
4 minutes.
4. Then add one more gallon of fuel japprox. 4 L (I. 1
U.S. Gal, 0.9 Imp. Gal11
The light should go out within 4 minutes.
maintanace access cover and disconnect the 3-P
connector from the fuel gauge sending unit. Con-
nect the A (YEL/BLU) teminal to the C (BLK) ter-
minal with a jumper wire.
If the light comes on, the problem is either the
sending unit or its ground.
an open in the YELIBLU wire to the gauge as-
sembly, no power to the gauge or bad bulb.
