Troubleshooting
A/C System
Remove the climate control unit
(page 22-84).
Disconnect the 30-P connector
from climate control unit.
Turn the ignition switch ON.
Measure voltage between the
No. 13 (GRY/BLK) terminal (+ )
and body ground I-).
Is there battery voltage?
Y E S
Check for continuity between;
No.25 (BLK) terminal and body
l
g r o u n d .
No.24 (BLK) terminal and body
l
ground.
Y E S
Substitute a known-good climate
control unit and recheck. If sym-
p t o m l i n d i c a t i o n g o e s
replace original control unit.

Repair open in one of the two BLK
wires between the climate control
unit and body ground. If the wires
are OK, check for a poor ground
at 6401.
