Troubleshooting
code 3-6: The pedal angle sensor UIACP).
Problem
Remove the AL0 2.3 (20A) fuse
for more than 3 seconds to reset
the TCS control unit.
Start thf engine.
Is problem code 3-6 indicated?
Y E S
Turn the ignition switch ON.

Measure the voltage between the
No. 1 (+) and No. 3 (-1 ter-
minals.
Is there approximately 5V?
Y E S
Connect the 3-P connector to the
Turn the ignition switch ON.
When the throttle is completely
closed and open, measure the voi-
tage between the TCS control unit
No. 4 terminal ar body ground.
Intermittent failure.
N O
Check for poor connections or
loose wires.
Measure the voltage between the
No. 1 terminal and body ground.

short in the YELIWHT
w i r e b e t w e e n t h e
PGM-FI ECU and pedal
angle sensor. If the
wire is OK, substitute e
known-good PGM-FI
ECU and recheck.
