Supplemental Restraint System (SRS)

If resistance is more than 0.2 KB, go to step 5.
If resistance is less than 0.2
l
harness is faulty: replace the SRS main harness
and recheck the voltages according to the chart
on page 23-330.

Disconnect the airbag
ness 3-P connector, and connect SRS test harness
C to the airbag assembly harness's 3-P connector.
Measure the resistance between terminals No. 7 and
No. 8.
l
If resistance is less than 0.2 KB, the cable reel
is faulty: replace the cable reel and recheck the
voltages according to the chart on page 23-330.
If resistance is more than 0.2 KO, the inflator is
l
faulty: replace the airbag assembly and recheck
the voltages according to the chart on page
23-330.

Mode E: SRS No. 1 fuse open.
CAUTION: Disconnect the battery negative termi-
nal and then disconnect the positive terminal.
Connect the short connector to the airbag assem-
bly (See page 23-3241.

Connect the SRS test harness B between the SRS
unit and SRS main harness 18-P connector.
2.
Reconnect the battery positive terminal and nega-
tive terminal.
3.
Measure the voltage between the B 13 terminal and
body ground with the ignition switch ON.

chart on page 23-330.
