Installing Elise 2 Server (AIWS Hardware)

System 900 addressing

The System 900 address consists of two hexadecimal digits that are selected by the eight

sections of the address switch, SW2. Sections 5-8 of the switch select the first (most significant)

digit and section 1-4 select the second (least significant) digit. The address must not be the

same as any other System 900 unit address (see document System Installation, On-site Paging

System, TD 90227GB for more information).

Connection of system bus

The Elise 2 Server (AIWS Hardware) can be installed together with other System 900 units,

either via modular system bus cabling or via twisted-pair lines.
