Import Users from a csv file
If many users should be added it is possible to import a csv file with the IPEI / IPDI.
The csv file may have the following format:
Long Name;Display Name;Name;Number;Password;IPEI/IPDI;Auth Code;
Different separators may be used in a delimiter-separated file. Import of files with the separators
semicolon or TAB is supported.
1. Select Users.
2. Click "Import".
3. Click "Browse" to locate the csv file.
4. Click Open > Next Make sure the correct number of entries are correct.
5. Click Next
Limitations
Maximum 1000 rows in the csv file.
The maximum csv file size is 128 Kb. If the file is to large, divide the file into several files.
Only the new user data is imported. The old user data is not deleted.
Existing user data cannot be updated.

Field name
Description
Long Name
Mandatory, the name of the user, need to be
unique throughout the system. This is the
name presented in a called party´s display,
unless this is configured in the IP-PBX.
Display Name Optional, will be shown in the handset
display when the handset is idle.
Name
Optional, the user name.
Number
Mandatory, the phone number extension,
need to be unique throughout the system.
Password
Optional, is used for registration towards the
gatekeeper.
IPEI / IPDI
The unique identification number of the
handset.
Auth. Code
Optional, the individual authentication code
for this user. Automatically created by
default. Can be modified manually.
