Avaya DECT R4 - Installation and Maintenance Guide
This setting determines the priority from the ToS field in
the IP header. You can use this function if the router can
use ToS priority control.
You can use hexadecimal, octal, or decimal values as
0x10, 020, and 16 are all equivalent.
ToS priority has two fields; one for RTP Data and one for
VoIP Signalling. VoIP Signalling includes roaming,
handover, and registrations towards the IP-PBX. Other
types of traffic, for example http and ldap, are not
prioritized and use 0x00.
Note:
Ensure that the same value is set in the
Note:
ToS field for all devices.
If you leave the ports fields blank, the system uses the
ports 16384 to 32767.
The rules for defining the ports are:
2050 <= 'First UDP-RTP Port'
128 <= 'Number of Ports' <= 16384
'First UDP-RTP Port' + 'Number of Ports' <= 65534
Note:
Use the DECT - Radio config tab to
Note:
configure the RTP ports on each radio.
