1. Select General > Admin.
2. In the Delegated Authentication section, click Join realm.
3. In the Join Kerberos realm window, enter relevant information in the following fields:
Realm: The realm name of the Kerberos server.
Host name: The MAC address of the device. The system uses the default value.
Admin user name and Admin password: The user name and password for a user with
administrator or join the realm account on the Kerberos server.

4. Click Join.
Configuring the IPBS as a client in a large existing system (many clients)
Prerequisite: All Masters and Radios must run on software version 3.x.x. Software version 6.1.X
is required if Windows 2008 R2 server is used.
1. Install the new software version 4.1.x using the update server and an update script. See
Configuring automatic Firmware update
2. Setup the update server using the update script. See
Kerberos clients
3. Select DECT > Radio config.
4. Go to the Update section, select the Command File URL field, enter the path to the
update server and the name of the update script.
5. In the Interval (min) field, enter the update period.
6. Click OK.
After the script is executed and each Radio is restarted, the Kerberos client joins the Kerberos
Server. You can see all joined Kerberos clients at the bottom of the Kerberos Server tab.
