Configuring Avaya Aura
Configuring the station
The DECT station administration Type should be XMOBILE, the XMOBILE Type should be
DECT and the Configuration Set should be blank. The Avaya 3720/3725 and 3740/3749
DECT sets support ICON Message Waiting, therefore Message Lamp Ext has to be set to the
station number and Length of Display to 16x2. For the Mobility Trunk Group select the
appropriate Trunk group. Cell Phone Number needs to be set to the station number and
Mapping Mode to both.

For the Mobility Trunk Group, select the appropriate trunk group. At least one of the
Primary Trunks to the IPBS Master should be selected. The mobility trunk group will be
updated automatically in the station form according to the currently used trunk. This will be
achieved by sending a proprietary H.323 X-Mobile message for each station on the
currently assigned trunk from the IPBS Master or Standby Master to the Communication
Manager.
