Deactivating Kerberos realm membership
Make sure that local authentication is enabled and working properly before leaving the Kerberos
realm. If local authentication is still disabled and the IPBS is no longer a member of the realm,
you cannot gain access the IPBS in any other way.
1. Select General > Admin.
2. In the Delegated Authentication section, clear the Disable local authentication check
box.
3. Click OK.
To deactivate the Kerberos membership for a client, do the following:
1. Select General > Admin.
2. Go to the Kerberos section, and click the link Leave realm.
3. Deactivate the Kerberos realm membership using one of the following two ways:
Deregister:To remove the client from the server database.
a. In the Leave Kerberos realm window, enter the user name and password for a

Delete: To leave the realm without removing data from the server.
Configuring automatic Firmware update
You can configure IPBS/IPBL to automatically update IPBS/IPBL firmware. You must upload a
script file to a suitable directory on an internal web server. For information on the script file

Using the Update Server
1. Select General > Update
2. In the URL text field, enter the URL of the script file.
3. In the Interval (min) text field, enter the poll interval in minutes.
4. Click OK.
The Current Update Serials section shows the values of variables that were set after the last
associated command was run.
