1. HEADLAMP SWITCH: Headlamp switch in HEAD

LAMP
The underhood lamp circuit begins at the hazard flasher
battery terminal and extends into the engine compartment
through the dash panel connector. At approximately the
center of the dash panel, the wire extends from the wiring
harness and joins the lamp connector.
The metallic lamp body serves as the ground connection
and contains a mercury switch. When the hood is up, the
mercury flows to the back of the lamp housing where it
connects the battery supply terminal to the bulb filament.
