3 Gantry

3.1 Gantry display

There are two gantry displays: the primary display and the secondary display. The gantry
primary display shown below provides gantry and table status information as described in the
following table.

Description
Displays information related to the table elevation and the cradle
location. This information is used in the scan room while position‐
ing the patient.
The Vertical Height indicator displays the vertical height of the ta‐
ble in relation to ISO center.
Display Range: 0 to 999.9 mm
Display Precision: +/-1.5 mm
Display Accuracy: +/-1.5 mm
The Horizontal Cradle Position displays the position of the cradle
based on the established anatomic reference of the patient. This
reference is established using the internal or external landmarks.
The number is preceded by an S if the position is superior to the
reference point or an I if the position is inferior to the reference
point.
Display Range: 0 to 9999.9 mm
Display Precision: +/-.25 mm
Display Accuracy: +/- 0.06 %
Scannable Range is selected via the Menu area dis‐
Shown when
play button. It clears after 15 seconds, when another menu area
selection is displayed or when you confirm the scan prescription,
hide the scannable range information with another button press,
press a Landmark button, or longitudinal motion occurs.
Table Travel Limits displayed are calculated based on a limit and
collision matrix that takes into consideration the table height and
landmark location on the cradle.

Display Precision: +/-.25 mm
Display Accuracy: +/- 0.06 %
