6.1.7 Quality Check (QC) Images

QC images are non-diagnostic, preview images generated by the system to check if the scan
acquisition was successful, prior to full IQ images. QC images are displayed in the two
viewports on the scan monitor. QC images have an annotation at the bottom to indicate that
they are not for diagnostic use. QC images are only generated once during a scan series, and
are not saved or available after the scan series is acquired.
QC Images will be auto-generated with the Primary Recon for the following scan types: Axial ,
Cardiac Axial, Helical and Cine.

6.1.8 Flip / Rotate

The reconstructed orientation of an image can be changed from the default mode by selecting
one of the following flip/rotate options in the

FLR (Flip Left Right)
FTB (Flip Top Bottom)
FLR / FTB (Flip Left Right / Flip Top Bottom)
NOTE:
Flip / Rotate options cannot be selected for images being acquired in the decubitus
patient positions.

To clear the collision sensor on a GE Revolution CT, remove any obstructions detected by the sensors located beneath the front and back of the table. Once the area is clear, you can continue positioning the table.
