2.3 Selecting viewports for images in the Reconstruction and Image Processing Task
List
The viewport selection button displays after the anatomy label
in which viewport each image series is to be displayed. In Protocol Management you can enter
the setting for each reconstruction or image processing set of images. Mouse over the icon to
enlarge it, then click on the viewport in which you want to view the recon or reformat series.

2.3.1 Auto-View

The upper left viewport will always auto view the secondary recons once reconstruction of the
volume is complete and will replace any images currently displayed in the viewport. Primary
recon will only be auto displayed if image display has been selected for this recon.

2.3.2 Viewport Priority

The priority for images being displayed in the viewports:
1. Upper left viewport, displays secondary images automatically after the reconstruction of the
volume is complete.
2. Any image assigned to a viewport using a viewport selection button.

2.4 View images in a cine loop

Use this procedure to view images in a cine loop, which is useful for tracking flow in same-
location scans taken with contrast or with motion such as flexing an elbow.
