6 Power Distribution Unit

The Power Distribution Unit (PDU) supplies power to various parts of the system including
gantry components, table and operator console. On the front of the PDU are controls to indicate
that power is on, a push button to turn power on/off to the gantry and table, and an Emergency
Stop button.

Function
Power Indicates power is On/Off to the unit
Gantry enable Enables/disables power to the gantry and table
Use the Emergency Stop to stop all table and gantry motions. X-ray is stopped,
and laser alignment lights are turned off. The cradle and base are also unlatched.
Emergency Stop
The system aborts any data collection acquisition in progress and attempts to
save any data acquired.
