mA (range 10 to 140 in 10 mA increments), This is the mA used during the Monitor and
Baseline Phases. Typically enter 50 mA for most studies. The system defaults to a low
mA value, which keeps heat units to a minimum. You can adjust mA value depending on
the patient size. The mA selected should be adequate to provide images that allow the
detection of contrast but do not need to be of high diagnostic quality.
kV is a non-editable field and is the same as the value set for the first diagnostic scan. If
this needs to be changed, go back to the Diagnostic scan task and change the settings
there.
Monitoring Delay (0 to 60 seconds in 1-second increments) sets the time before
monitoring scans begin. The time varies based on the anatomy being monitored.
Monitoring Inter Scan Delay (1 to 60 seconds in 1-second increments) sets the time
between monitoring scans.
Enhancement Threshold (0 to 1,000 in steps of 1) sets the bar on the graph to monitor
threshold enhancement. When Dynamic Transition is On, the Scan Phase starts
