    GE H EALTHCARE 5461425-8EN, R XR118 S IRECTION EVISION RIVO ERVICE ANUAL Section 4.0 Equipment Safety - Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) A sudden discharge of static electricity from your finger or other conductor can destroy static- sensitive devices or microcircuitry. Often the spark is neither felt nor heard, but damage occurs. An electronic device exposed to electrostatic discharge (ESD) might not appear to be affected at all and can work perfectly throughout a normal cycle.

On conductive floors or dissipative floor mats, use them on both feet with a maximum of one-megohm +/- 10% resistance between the operator and ground.
