Signal from temperature control position sensor is less than the specified
(0.0 V) or more than the specified (5.0 V).
DTC Troubleshooting
Step
1
1) Turn ignition switch OFF, and then disconnect
temperature control actuator connector referring to
"Temperature Control Actuator Removal and Installation
in Section 7A".
2) Turn ignition switch ON, and then check voltage
between "RED/WHT" wire terminal at temperature
control actuator connector and body ground.
Is voltage about 5 V?

1) Turn ignition switch OFF, and then disconnect HVAC
control module connector referring to "HVAC Control
Module Removal and Installation in Section 7A".
2) Check resistance between "RED/WHT" wire terminal at
temperature control actuator connector and "RED/WHT"
wire terminal at HVAC control module connector.
Is resistance less than 1 M
3
1) Check resistance between "RED/WHT" wire terminal
and body ground.
Is resistance more than 1 M
4
1) With ignition switch ON position, check voltage between
"RED/WHT" wire terminal and "BLK/RED" wire terminal
at temperature control actuator connector.
Is voltage about 5 V?
