10C-9 Immobilizer Control System:
Not using SUZUKI scan tool (for vehicle not
equipped with immobilizer indicator lamp)
1) Using service wire (1), ground diagnostic switch
terminal (2) to ground terminal (4) in diagnosis
connector (3) (color: blue).
2) Read DTC from flashing pattern of malfunction
indicator lamp (5) as shown in example below. For
details of DTC, refer to "DTC Table". If lamp remains
ON, go to "Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) Check
in Section 1A".
NOTE
If abnormality or malfunction exists in two or
more areas, malfunction indicator lamp
indicates applicable codes three times each.
And, flashing of these codes is repeated as
long as diagnosis terminal is grounded and
ignition switch is at ON position.

3) After completing the check, turn ignition switch OFF
and disconnect service wire from diagnosis
connector.
This code appears when the immobilizer control
system is in good condition.
Start troubleshooting referring to applicable
troubleshooting procedure.
