Installation
Reverse removal procedure for installation.
Outside Air Temperature Sensor (If Equipped
with Information Display) Inspection
Measure resistance of outside air temperature sensor
using an ohmmeter.
If resistance is out of specification, replace outside air
temperature sensor.
Outside air temperature sensor resistance
2.18 kΩ – 2.22 kΩ at 25 °C (77 °F)

Instrument Panel Removal and Installation

WARNING
!
Refer to "Air Bag Warning in Section 00"
before starting service work.
Removal
1) Disconnect negative (–) cable at battery.
2) Disable air bag system referring to "Disabling Air
Bag System in Section 8B".
3) Remove steering column hole cover.
4) Detach steering lower shaft referring to "Steering
Column Assembly Removal and Installation in
Section 6B".

Instrumentation / Driver Info. / Horn:
5) Remove glove box (1) and hood latch release lever
(2).
6) Remove console box referring to "Console Box
Components in Section 9H".
7) Remove instrument panel center lower covers (1).
8) Remove front pillar trims (1), front pillar lower
garnishes (2), front side sill scuffs (3) and dash side
trims (4).

5. Forward
9) Disconnect instrument panel harness connectors
and antenna cable which need to be disconnected
for removal for instrument panel.
10) Remove instrument panel ground wire.
11) Remove instrument panel mounting bolts (1).
