NOTE
After replacing Immobilizer Control Module,
register Transponder code and ECM/
Immobilizer Control Module (ECU) code in
Immobilizer Control Module and ECM/
Immobilizer Control Module (ECU) code in
ECM by performing procedure described in
"Procedure after Immobilizer Control Module
Replacement".

How to Register Ignition Key

Register the ignition key with a built-in transponder in
Immobilizer Control Module, perform "Register New Ig
Key (TP Code)" mode by using SUZUKI scan tool. To
know how to use SUZUKI scan tool and registration
procedure in details, refer to "SUZUKI Tech 2 Operator's
Manual".

Procedure after Immobilizer Control Module
Replacement
When Immobilizer Control Module was replaced
(including when replaced because rechecking by using a
known-good Immobilizer Control Module was necessary
during trouble diagnosis), register Transponder code
and ECM/Immobilizer Control Module code in
Immobilizer Control Module and ECM/Immobilizer
Control Module code in ECM by performing the following
procedure.
Perform "Record ECU (IMMOBI/ECM)" and "Register
New Ig Key (TP Code)" mode by using SUZUKI scan

registration procedure in details, refer to "SUZUKI Tech 2
Operator's Manual".

Procedure after ECM Replacement

When ECM was replaced (including when replaced
because rechecking by using a known-good ECM was
necessary during trouble diagnosis), register ECM/
Immobilizer Control Module code in ECM by performing
the following procedure.
Perform "Record ECU (IMMOBI/ECM)" mode by using
SUZUKI scan tool. To know how to use SUZUKI scan
tool and registration procedure in details, refer to
"SUZUKI Tech 2 Operator's Manual".
