Headlight Switch (in Lighting Switch) Inspection

Check for continuity between terminals at each switch position as shown in the following figure. If check result is not as
specified, replace switch.
Headlight Leveling Switch (If Equipped)
Inspection
Check for resistance between terminals at each switch
position as shown. If check result is not as specified,
replace switch.

Headlight Diode Removal and Installation

Removal
1) Disconnect negative (–) cable at battery.
2) Remove glove box from instrument panel.
3) Remove headlight diode (1) from main harness (2)
as shown in figure.
