Is the paper in Tray 1 damaged?
2 Check paper size setup.
Does the paper size in use match the
Tray 1 size setting?

Open Door A.
Does the paper touch the Registration
Sensor?

Do the size guides operate smoothly?
5 Check the Tray 1 Feeder installation.
1. Reinstall the Tray 1 Feeder.
2. Print a Test Print from Tray 1.
Does the error occur?

Check the Feed Roller.
Remove the Tray 1 Feeder.
Is the Feed Roller worn or contaminated
with paper dust?
7 Check the Drive Roller.
Remove the Tray 1 Feeder.
Is the Drive Roller worn or
contaminated with paper dust?

2. Run the Service Diagnostics
