Direct Extension Dial Delay (#112)

Use this feature to specify the number of times (0–9) an incoming call should ring before it is
answered by the Direct Extension Dial feature.
Considerations
This feature works independently of Line Ringing, which determines how an outside call rings
at the extension—immediately, after a 20 second delay, or not at all. Direct Extension Dial
Delay specifies the number of rings a caller hears before the system answers the call.
If you use Caller ID, make sure Direct Extension Dial Delay is set to 2 rings or more to
ensure that Caller ID information is captured.
If you use T1 lines with Direct Inward Dialing (DID) that are not administered for Direct
Inward Dialing (DID) in PARTNER ACS R7.0 PC Administration, set the number of rings to 1
ring or more.
