Most of the main electrical components of this printer are controlled by the MCTL
P.W.B.

Overview of the Structure of the Sequence Control
The basic structure of the sequence control is shown in Fig. 4-28.
Controls the print process through the paper feeding, print-
ing, and transport.
Automatically controls the laser output.
Controls the fusing heater so that the fuser roller and back-
up roller maintain the set temperature.
Senses the absence or presence of toner.
Processes I/O signals to and from the external controller
(host).
Displays the printer operation status on the panel.
Stops the printer safely, and displays the status of the
defects if any error occurs with the printer.
