4.2.3.4 First Transfer (Drum)
First transfer is defined as the process which moves the toner images from
the OPC belt to the transfer drum.
4.2.3.4.1 Structure of the Drum Transfer
(see Fig. 4-8 and Fig. 4-17)
The drum transfer components are shown in Figure 4.8.
The drum is made of aluminum. The drum surface is coated
with rubber as shown in Fig. 4-17. The transfer drum rotates,
synchronously maintaining contact with the OPC belt.
