4.2.3.1 Charging
The charging process means that the OPC belt is evenly charged by the
charger.

Structure of the Charger Unit
(see Fig. 4-11).
The charger unit is located as shown in Fig. 4-11. The
charger unit consists of the case, corona wire and grid (see
Fig. 4-11). The grid is constructed to allow for uniform
charging.
The charger unit charges the OPC belt surface to the potential

The OPC belt is biased to -CBV. The charger unit generates a
negative charge and uniformly charges the surface of the
OPC belt.
