The printed image staggers in the vertical direction as shown in the print
sample at the upper right corner.
1. The printer in located on an unstable surface.
2. The optical unit failure caused by vibration of the scanner motor.

1. Do not apply shock or vibration to the printer.
2. The surface on which the printer is placed should be stable.
3. Replace the optical unit (see section 7.3.5).
