8.5.17 Color Misregistration

8.5.17.1 Phenomenon
Color misregistration is caused between two colors as shown in the print
sample at the upper-right corner.
8.5.17.2 Main Causes
1. The OPC belt cartridge is not properly installed.
2. The OPC belt cartridge is defective.
3. The cleaning brush is not installed properly, or cleaning brush is
defective.
4. The OPC belt cartridge is binding.

8.5.17.3 Countermeasures
1. Reseat the OPC belt cartridge properly.
2. Replace the OPC belt cartridge with a new cartridge.
3. Replace the cleaning brush with a new brush.
4. Replace the Drum Cleaner solenoid.
