E12)

Fold the TEC/DSI cables back into position along the outer wall of the chassis.

Remount the ribbon cable shield over the TEC/DSI cables. If the shield does not fit
properly, check the folding of the TEC/DSI cables. Do not crimp these cables.

Insert the two screws to hold the cable shield in place. Do not overtighten.

Reinsert the TEC/DSI PCAs (slots 12 and 13) and the SCSI Interface PCA (slot 11).
Return the TEC/DSI PCAs to the appropriate locations.

Reattach the TEC/DSI cables.

Apply power to the BMC chassis by resetting the rocker switch in step 8 above.
Wait for start-up activity to end and the message, Software Loaded or S/W Loaded, to
be displayed.

To clear any alarms on the standby processor, enter the following at the maintenance
terminal:
>DOS S RSERR 00 (cr)
Alarms will clear on the standby processor if there are no faults.

To place the active processor unit in PRIME mode, perform the following steps at the
Switch and Status Panel of the BMC:
a. Press the A/B Select Switch to match the active processor.
b. Press the O/P Mode Select Switch to P.
c. Turn the Mode Switch to the right and release.

To clear all alarms on the active processor, enter the following at the maintenance
terminal:
>RSERR 00 (cr)
Alarms will clear if there are no faults.
