Note 5: For full-time block checks, enter 00 for Start, and 23 for Stop,
and 01 for Interval.
Note 6: If no block checks are required, enter 00 for start and 00 for
Stop, and 00 for Interval.
The system response is as follows:
BLOCK CHECK START xx END yy HOURS, INTERVAL OF zz MINUTES
where: xx - block check start time (hour of the day)
yy - block check end time (hour of the day)
zz - minutes of interval.
Note 7: If an incorrect value is entered, the BMC responds:
INVALID RANGE
Note 8: Use the SITDAT WRITE command to save any changes and the
LINIT command to restart the CP with the new value.
Polling Baud Rate
The internal BMC timer and retry counters for the polling link are set with the
BAUD command. The BAUD command sets the values of the T1 (timer) and
N2 (retry) parameters on a specified link. This baud rate must match the
values expected by the HOC.
To examine BAUD rate currently assigned, enter the following at the
maintenance terminal:
>BAUD (cr)
The system responds with baud rate data for the two polling links, as shown
below:
FOR LINK #1, BAUD RATE = xxxx, T1 = yy, and N2 = zz
FOR LINK #2, BAUD RATE = xxxx, T1 = yy, and N2 = zz
where: xxxx - baud rate for the link
yy - value of T1 timer, in seconds
zz - value of retry counter, N2.
To assign or change BAUD rate data, enter the following at the maintenance
terminal:
>BAUD link rate (cr)
