KYWD
The KYWD command is used to examine or set the machine-machine
security keyword that uniquely identifies the HOC as a device that is
authorized to access the BMC. A remote device must supply the keyword
before access is permitted. The default value for the KYWD is HOST.0.
Examples of command usage
To display the keyword currently assigned to the HOC, enter the following at
the maintenance terminal:
>KYWDL (cr)
To assign or change the keyword currently assigned to the HOC, enter the
following at the maintenance terminal:
>KYWDnC keywrd (cr)
where:
n- single digit remote station number
keywrd- six character alphanumeric keyword.
LPAD
The LPAD command is used to examine or change the one byte, leading pad
character used in the BISYNC protocol used during call record polling. The
leading pad character cannot start with an E.
Examples of command usage
To examine the pad character, enter the following at a maintenance terminal:
>LPADE (cr)
To change the pad character, enter the following at the maintenance terminal:
>LPADxx (cr)
where:
xx - two digit HEX pad character (0-9 and A-D,F). The first pad
character digit cannot begin with "E".
