The system responds with the following messages:

where:
filename - filename
xx - file version
yy - total number of files listed
ppp - number of tracks used
ggg - total number of tracks available
rr - percentage of disk used
m - number of bad tracks on disk A
n - number of bad tracks on disk B.
BMC System Message Functions
Messages are printed on the maintenance terminal as a response to command
input or as program output. BMC messages inform the user of the status of
the hardware and program operation. BMC messages include operational,
alarm, and exception reports.
The BMC displays a number of messages that begin with variables. The
variables range from two to seven characters in size and are alphanumeric.
When searching alphabetic listings for messages that begin with variables,
search for the first non-variable letter. In some cases, a log message is printed
in response to BMC activity. Log messages are printed at the maintenance
terminal. Log messages are identified by a banner that includes the time and
date. To avoid confusion and simplify message organization, the log message
banner is not shown with the message in this section. The format for the log
message banner is:
297-6201-502 Standard 01.02 September 2000
