The first 14 bytes are the block header. The rest of the block is AMA data
records. The format of the block header is described in the following table.

For a LOG file type, the system displays the following message:
IDXMAINT EXAMINE LOG format seq
READ FILE IN PROCESS
POLLING IN PROCESS
Use the following command to examine the header of the block starting at the
specified sequence number.
>IDXMAINT EXAMINE file_type HDR seq (cr)
The system responds by displaying the header for the specified block. The
format of the block header is listed in Table 3-10.
Use the following command to examine sequential record blocks.
>IDXMAINT EXAMINE file_type NEXT num (cr)

Description
Block Sequence Number (0-999999). Coded in binary/right
justified
Block size (in bytes, including the header).
AMA records in block
Flag Byte
Date and time block was written to disk (month, day, hour,
minute in Binary Coded Decimal [BCD]).
Bytes not used.
Note 14: If this command is entered while call record polling is under
way, the system displays:
Note 15: When printing log files with this command, the log message
appears in ASCII regardless of the format specified.
