Examples of command usage
To examine the system password, enter the following at the maintenance
terminal:
>DMSP (cr)
To change the system password, enter the following at the maintenance
terminal:
>DMSP xxxx (cr)
where:
xxxx - four-character ASCII value of the DMS-10 main password.
Note: Use the SITDAT WRITE and LINIT commands to save any
changes and update the CP with the new values.
DMST ***DMS-10 ONLY***
DMST is used with the DMS-10 Switching System; the BMC can route
messages to a Switching System terminal.

To examine the log terminal assignments, enter the following at the
maintenance terminal:
>DMST (cr)
To change log terminal assignments, enter the following at the maintenance
terminal:
>DMST x gg (cr)
where:
x - terminal position (1-6)
gg - terminal assignment (00-99 or D).

CAUTION
The passwords stored in the DMS-10 and BMC must
match when log terminals have been assigned using the
DMST command or BMC system performance will be
quickly reduced due to a backup of system messages.
