Step 17. Demote the Standby server

To prevent the Standby server from running as an Active server at this time, and
causing a data loss, you must demote the Standby server immediately after
restoring the Multimedia database.
Demoting the Standby server
You must use the Multimedia Administrator tool to demote the server to Standby
mode.

Log on to the Standby server.

On the Standby server, click Start > All Programs > Nortel Contact
Center > Multimedia Server > CCMM Administrator.

Type your administrator user ID and password.
User ID: SysAdmin
Password: _ _ ccmm!

Click Login.

Expand Contact Center Multimedia.

Expand Database Administration.
