Configuring QoS Priorities

For 8 Gbps platforms only, you can change QoS priorities from the default settings using the
following steps:
1. Select Configure > FCIP Tunnels.
2. Select the switch you want to configure under Products.
3. Click the Add button, or right-click on the switch and select Add Tunnel.
4. Click Advanced Settings.

The FCIP Tunnels dialog box is displayed. All discovered fabrics with extension switches are
listed under devices, and all existing FCIP tunnels are displayed.
The Add FCIP Tunnel dialog box is displayed.
The Advanced Settings dialog box is displayed. This dialog box has a Transmission tab, Security
tab, and FICON Emulation tab. Configure QoS percentages on the Transmission tab
(Figure
286).

values must equal 100%. A minimum of 10% is required for each level.
NOTE
Editing QoS values is a disruptive operation, so a warning message displays when you make
changes.
