Replacing a Pressure Sensor

3. Connect the replacement sample loop to valve S as follows:
a. Insert the fittings at the end of the sample loop into ports 2 and 5 of valve S.
b. Secure the fittings to their receiving ports as described in
Viper/nanoViper solvent lines"
fingertight fittings.
4. Check for leaks by running the system leak test as described in
Loop Connections for Leaks"
This section describes how to replace a pressure sensor.
Replacing the pressure sensor requires these tools and materials:

• #2 Phillips head screw driver
• 2.5 mm L-hex wrench or ball driver
CAUTION Wear powder-free gloves and safety glasses when handling parts of the LC system
that come into contact with solvents.
IMPORTANT
from the EASY-nLC II and EASY-nLC 1000 and vice versa. The EASY-nLC
1200 pressure sensors are identified by the white connector to the pump PCB
and the product number LV2-TI105-01-20K.
