For the pump module in the EASY-nLC 1200 instrument, the Pump Torque script measures
the actuator's ability to generate pressure at predefined torque levels.
Figure 33 shows the parameters for the Pump Torque script.

The Back Pressure script determines instrument backpressure for solvent A and B. The script
runs at a preset flow and measures the backpressure on the system.
IMPORTANT Before you perform the Back Pressure script, ensure that the solvent A
bottle contains UHPLC/MS-grade water and the solvent B bottle contains
UHPLC/MS-grade acetonitrile/water (max. 95% acetonitrile). This test is not valid for
other solvents.
