Returning the EASY-nLC Instrument

If it is necessary to return the EASY-nLC instrument to the factory, follow the instructions in
this chapter.

Before packaging the instrument for transport, purge pump A, B and S with
UHPLC/MS-grade methanol. Take care to remove all solvents from the instrument by
running the last purge iteration on air.
❖ To prepare the instrument for transport
1. Press Home > Overview.
2. Press Eject/Insert Tray.
3. Remove the plates/tubes.
4. Remove the waste beaker and the wash/waste bottles.
5. Press Eject/Insert Tray.

8. Fill out the Declaration of Contamination.
9. Place the EASY-nLC instrument in the original shipping container.
