The check valves are replaceable. For more information about determining if the check valves
are leaking, see
"Identifying a Leaking Check Valve"
The six-port valves can be in three different positions: 1–2 position, 1–6 position, and
centered (see
Figure
8).

1–2 position
For maintenance purposes, the system tracks the number of valve shifts for each valve
(see
"Checking and Resetting the Device Usage Counters"
Note Please note the numbering of the valve ports as depicted in
numbering with valve port 1 in 4 o'clock position). Due to operational reasons, the
graphical representation in this guide or in the instrument's built-in software may show
the valves in a different orientation. Please use only the port numbers for identification of
port positions.

Depending on the valve position, the valves perform the functions listed in
