During a sample run, the autosampler needle descends into the selected sample vial or well,
and then pump S aspirates the sample into the needle tubing. The autosampler needle is a
user-replaceable part. For information about replacing the autosampler needle, see
the Autosampler Needle"
The autosampler needle is a length of tubing with a nanoViper fitting at one end and a
PEEK™ nut and plastic stop at the other end
the panel between the solvent system compartment and the tray compartment and properly
positions the needle tubing. The nanoViper fitting connects to port 1 of valve S.
