• In the AB Mix box [%B], enter the solvent composition as a percentage of
solvent B.
• If you want the solvent flow to continue until you press Stop, select the Run
Indefinitely check box.
3. Press Start.
Note The system will need a few minutes for initiation.
When either pump runs out of solvent, both pumps refill. The refilling process takes
approximately 2 minutes.
This script applies a stepwise pressure ramp with solvent A to a new column.
The parameters are: Total duration, max. pressure, no. of steps.
The MS Connection script tests the contact closure function between the EASY-nLC
instrument and the mass spectrometer.

1. Connect the contact closure cable to the EASY-nLC instrument and the mass
spectrometer.
