d. Remove the old seal from the pump head using the piston seal removal tool
(Figure 57). The piston seal removal tool is part of the accessory kit of the EASY-nLC
1200 (Figure 56).

CAUTION Use only the dedicated piston seal tool for removing the piston seal
from the pump head. Other tools can scratch the inside of the pump head and
generate leaks.
