Procedure
Replace the ESS PWB (PL 9.2).

A failure occurred when setting the M/C serial number.
Procedure
Check the connection of each ESS PWB
connectors are securely connected.
Y N
Connect the connectors.
Turn on the power again. The problem persists.
Y N
Return to Service Call Procedures.
Perform GP 4 Replacing Billing PWBs.
If the problem persists replace the ESS PWB
If the problem persists replace the FAX PWB
